About me

My name is Ekaterina Erofeeva.

I was born in 1981 in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

I began my journey at Saint Petersburg State University, delving into the realm of psychology and getting Masters Degree in Psychotherapy (1998-2003). Despite that, I was always a creative person interested in all kinds of arts and crafts.

Transitioning eventually into a successful mixed media artist, I gained recognition for my unique handmade jewelry, showcased at various festivals.

In 2014, a new chapter unfolded as me and my family moved to California. Couple of years later I decided to pursue my interest in photography.

As time progressed, my passion for portraits and the black and white aesthetic emerged. As my artistic evolution continued, I experimented with various styles of photography, resulting in my own style which reflects my unique vision and perception of people and the world around me. I’ve noticed that the knowledge I amassed during my years of psychological studies and experience in the world of art proved very useful in my career as a photographer.
